But Preparation is key
Here are some things you need to know:
Have Your ID and Boarding Pass In Hand
Don’t be that unprepared person at the front of the TSA line. Also, TSA hates it when you make them wait.
Put All Your S*** In Your Bag
Ever been behind someone at Starbucks, and they take five minutes to order a tall dark roast. Yeah, that’ll be you if you don’t put your shit in your bag first. Just take the time (before getting in line) to put your wallet, loose change, keys, watches, headphones, etc away.
TSA Does Not Care About Your “Special Magical” Water
Please just throw away the water bottle or drink it before you get to the front. No matter what you say it’s still not getting pass TSA.
Laptops Out
Basically, any electronic that’s larger than a phone take it out and put it in a separate bin.
Shoes Off People
Yes, that’s still a thing. Everyone has to take their shoes off to go through TSA. Word of advice, wear socks.
Larger Than 3.4 Fl Oz Don’t Even Try
Trust me they will find anything above 3.4 fl oz. Once I forgot about a bottle of cologne…
These rules are easy to remember but even easier to forget. Just remember don’t be that person at Starbucks. Come prepared.
